| Selena Gomez on Instagram: Pray for Gaza... - The <b>Hollywood Gossip</b> Posted: 19 Jul 2014 08:12 AM PDT Selena Gomez has made her opinion known on the raging conflict in the Middle East. Writing on Instagram that "It's About Humanity," Selena posted the controversial message last night for folks to "Pray for Gaza" in regard to the ongoing battle being waged between Israel and Palestine in that region. Gomez is the latest star to weigh in on this difficult topic, with Rihanna (accidentally, she claims) Tweeting "Free Palestine" earlier in the week, only for the message to be quickly deleted. But Selena isn't backing off. "Please pray for those families and babies today. Please always remember what's important in life," she explained. Many are now wondering whether Gomez actually supports Hamas - which has launched numerous missiles in an attempt to destroy Israel - or if she's just expressing prayers for peace in general. It certainly sounds like the latter, doesn't it? Gomez concluded her message with the hashtag "#wearethenextgeneration." At least she's moved on from Justin Bieber, right? | Miley Cyrus Dead? Hoax Tries, Fails to Off Singer With Fake Overdose Posted: 20 Jul 2014 05:09 AM PDT A viral Facebook hoax is saying Miley Cyrus died this weekend. Don't believe any of the hype that Miley Cyrus is dead, though, and don't click on any links. According to the sham report, the singer passed away at her home due to an overdose, but it's all a farce. The headline spreading virally reads: "[SHOCKING] Miley Cyrus Found Dead in Los Angeles Home! Country singer Miley Cyrus found overdosed this afternoon in her Los Angeles home."  Shocking as that would be ... Miley hasn't been a country singer in years, if ever. Oh yeah, and this alleged tragedy did not occur in any way, shape or form. It's more than just a cruel joke, too, as this particular hoax appears designed to spread bogus surveys that make money for the scammers behind it. Pretty shameless, but also fairly customary (sadly) in this day and age. When users click on the post, they're redirected to a site designed to look like Facebook, which prompts them to share the page before continuing. There's no video of Miley Cyrus dead, of course, or story of any sort. She's been the subject of similar rumors in the past, as have a host of other celebrities. Check out other stars done in by hoaxes in the past: Lil Wayne has been the subject of more than one death hoax over the years ... and more than one actual near-death experience. So it's believalble. |
| Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine: Married! - The <b>Hollywood Gossip</b> Posted: 20 Jul 2014 04:03 AM PDT Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are officially husband and wife as the Maroon 5 singer and model, who got engaged last summer, tied the knot in Mexico.  The location was Flora Farms in Los Cabos, and the newlyweds were feted by approximately 275 of their close friends and family on Saturday night. While the bride wore a custom-made Marchesa dress, while the guests were not held to a specific dress code for the summer-inspired affair. "All the guests were happy and relaxed," says a source close to the couple. "They were excited to celebrate with the couple on their big day." The rustic setting and its intimate ceremony capped off a celebration-filled weekend for the duo that included a beach celebration Friday night as well. Levine, 35, previously partied with a group of about 50 friends at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas for his bachelor party, but those days are over. He recently commented that he has "had enough bachelor parties" in his lifetime and was ready to settle down with the Namibian-born Prinsloo, 25. "I definitely feel like I'm sitting in the chair I'm supposed to be sitting in right now," The Voice coach said, looking back. "It all feels very natural." Congratulations to the happy couple! | Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick to Divorce After Latest <b>...</b> Posted: 16 Jul 2014 10:04 AM PDT Carrie Bradshaw didn't tolerate much crap on Sex and the City, but in real life Sarah Jessica Parker has stood by her man through numerous allegations that he cheated on her with younger women. Matthew Broderick's infidelity has never been confirmed, but sources tell The National Enquirer that SJP is through giving her husband of 17 years the benefit of the doubt, and she's preparing to file for divorce as a result of Broderick's most recent cheating scandal.  Back in April Parker attacked a Twitter user named Sarah Symonds for reasons that remain mysterious. At the time, it was pointed out that a woman of the same name made headlines in 2010 for threatening to reveal Gordon Ramsay's affair. Did Symonds have the dirt on Broderick and Parker is just now seeing the light? We may never know for certain, but sources say that in any case, Parker is well and truly done with Broderick. The Parker-Brodericks reportedly took a trip to Ireland recently in an effort to save their marriage, but onlookers in the small town where the couple owns a cottage said that the stars "barely spoke to each other" and seemed resigned to calling it quits by the end of their stay. Broderick and Parker welcomed twin sons in 2009, and prior to the infidelity accusations, they had been regarded as one of Hollywood's most stable couples. Naya Rivera and Big Sean called it quits while rumors that he cheated took the celebrity gossip blogosphere by storm. |
| 24 Live Another Day Finale Recap: Off With His Head! - The <b>...</b> Posted: 15 Jul 2014 03:02 AM PDT We all know how much Jack Bauer loves to chop off people's heads. It was one of the most stunning acts in 24 history, back in Season 2, when Jack cut off an enemy's noggin in order to help with his undercover mission for CTU. But this defeated former agent took no real pleasure in executing moral enemy Cheng on last night's 24: Live Another Day finale; that's because Cheng had already won the duo's battle. His henchman had killed Audrey.  Watch 24: Live Another Day Season 1 Episode 12 Yes, Jack's final love, his one reason to go on, became the latest woman to meet her demise on the final. Wife Teri died to conclude Season 1. Audrey was later tortured. Renee Walker was killed off. And now Audrey has joined her. We get it, of course: no one is safe on 24. Jack Bauer is lone wolf. He's beaten down and destroyed and only has his country left to save. But still. Can't we give the guy a break sometimes? The tiniest shred of hope? Instead, after getting to Cheng and proving to the Chinese that he was behind their destroyed sub, Jack then traded his life for Chloe's, who had been kidnapped by the Russians. He almost did smile when getting on that helicopter, secure in the knowledge that at least he saved his "best friend." And, heck, does Jack even care what happens to him at this point? He has no reason to want to go on living. The only thing more heartbreaking than Jack's reaction to Audrey's death (probably Kiefer Sutherland's best-ever work on 24) was that of President Heller. Due to his disease, he'll never even remember his daughter. Some may say that is a good thing in the end, but what a devastating thought. As he deals with Alzheimer's, Heller won't even have the comfort of his daughter, or his daughter's memory, to keep him company. So, yeah. Not exactly an uplifting hour of television. Will FOX bring 24 back again? No decision has been reached. These 12 episodes were a lot tighter than past seasons, however, and it's hard to believe that loyal fans won't jump back in for another round of Jack Bauer. | Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott: "Cabin Fever" - The <b>Hollywood</b> <b>...</b> Posted: 20 Jul 2014 04:25 AM PDT Just weeks after Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott aired their dirty laundry and then some on True Tori, the couple is back with yet another reality show. While it was filmed last year, before Dean cheated on Tori Spelling with the possibly fake Emily Goodhand, it further epitomizes their desperate thirst for fame. Tori and Dean share a touching moment. So much to say about these two. "Tori's friends weren't surprised that she had signed up to do another reality show," an insider said of their latest effort, Tori & Dean: Cabin Fever. "Tori just can't stay away from reality shows, and really wants to try and show the world that her family life is just as normal as everyone else's." "Even though she was criticized for doing a reality show as she was dealing with Dean's cheating scandal, Tori didn't care," the source revealed. "And now, even though she currently has her scripted show Mystery Girls with ABC Family, and this new reality show too, Tori wants to film another one!" The Great American Country series, Tori & Dean: Cabin Fever, follows the California family as they leave L.A. to renovate a cottage in Dean's native Canada. Cracks were already showing in their marriage, pre-Emily Goodhand boning. "We need to get on the same page," McDermott, 47, says in the preview. "Men and women are never on the same page," Spelling, 41, laments. The troubled pair's four kids, Liam, 7, Stella, 6, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 1, are also prominently featured in the show, and will likely need a lot of therapy one day. Probably the best/worst part of this, though? According to both the actual homeowner and realtor featured on the premiere, they didn't actually buy the cottage and only entered into a rental agreement. "I still own the house," the Toronto resident registered to the home says. "I'm retired now, so I gave it to my sons. And yes, they filmed a reality TV show there." Todd Jeffries, the real estate agent featured, says he doesn't even normally trade in that area and was approached by producers to do the show. "I wasn't involved in the rental side of it and I don't really know what the arrangement was," Jeffries said, making you wonder if anything these two do is real. Tori and Dean are so broke, he can't even afford a vasectomy supposedly. Guess that's why they keep having kids. |
