| Phil Rudd, AC/DC Drummer, Arrested in Murder For Hire Plot - The <b>...</b> Posted: 06 Nov 2014 02:35 AM PST In shocking news no one saw coming this morning Phil Rudd, the drummer for AC/DC, was arrested in New Zealand for allegedly planning to have people killed. Drugs were found in his waterfront home during an early morning police raid.  Phil Rudd, 60, was taken into custody early Thursday morning in New Zealand. He has been charged with attempting to procure a murder, as well as with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, which were found at his residence. Rudd allegedly to hire a hit man to kill two other men for unknown reasons. The names of the intended victims and the hit man were not released. Rudd was released on bail after a brief court appearance. He must not have any sort of contact with anyone involved in the alleged murder plot as a result. The sentence carries at least 10 years in prison. Waka Flocka Flame was arrested at the Atlanta airport for packing heat. That'll do it every time. Rudd was kicked out of the band, one of the biggest of all time, in 1983 and rejoined in 1994, but he did not appear in a new photo of band last month. He reportedly absent from the filming of a new music video for the new album Rock or Bust, prompting speculation about whether he was still in the band.  |

Posted: 31 Oct 2014 10:18 AM PDT Amanda Bynes is officially out of the psychiatric facility, and showing us why she was committed there in the first place with a Twitter rant for the ages.  To the surprise and dismay of many, Amanda Bynes was released from psychiatric care last night after the facility decided they could not hold her there. She had been placed under a 30-day involuntary hold at the Pasadena, Calif., hospital, but lobbied to be released and officials shockingly obliged. Believing she was lucid and that legally she could not be held there any longer, he involuntary commitment was invalidated and she was cut loose. Almost immediately, we're seeing why that decision will be immediately second guessed and may even prove extraordinarily dangerous before long. In an epic and ongoing Twitter rant, the actress accused her father of sexual assault for the second time, and announced plans to get out of her conservatorship. Here's what she's had to say in the last three hours:
Amanda Bynes thinks she is dope. The actress has posted this photo to Twitter. All words simply fail us at this point. It would be so, so funny if it weren't so, so sad and a little scary. It's not clear if Bynes really will be in court today and the outcome if so is even less certain. After her parents' first conservatorship lapsed this summer, Amanda moved out of their house, failed out of school, and got arrested for DUI again. A period of bizarre behavior soon followed. Sam Lutfi, her "friend" and Britney Spears' former confidant, engineered a ruse earlier this month that ended with Bynes confined to the hospital. She's clearly not happy about this. Her current whereabouts are not known, but she's already made quite an appearance on L.A.'s Sunset Strip, specifically in the middle of one hotel lobby. Bynes tried to get a room at London hotel after her release, but was turned away; Amanda has stayed there before and caused problems, TMZ reports. The actress' response? Reaching into her bag, grabbing a giant wad of money and tossing the bills into the air in the direction of the front desk. Stay tuned. |
| Robert Downey, Jr. and Wife Welcome Second Child! - The <b>...</b> Posted: 05 Nov 2014 05:54 AM PST It's a girl for Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife, Susan! According to People Magazine, the actor behind nominee officially became the father of a baby girl yesterday in Los Angeles. The child (name and measurements currently unknown) joins the couple's two-and-a-half-year old son, Exton Elias, along with Downey's 21-year-old son from a previous marriage.  The star announced in July that he and his wife were expecting, initially Tweeting: "Yo. Susan. Me. Baby. Girl. November. Scorpio?" He later added on Facebook, "Um. I don't know if it's a 'man's world', but I'm certain women run it. Susan and I are therefore delighted to announce we are expecting a baby." Just a few days ago, Downey paid a moving tribute to his pregnant wife during the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards, where he received the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film. "It's just the uncertainty of how nowadays you have all these things where you think you have much more of an understanding of what you're going to get," he said. "And then this little soul lets herself be known to you, and it's just like: You don't know anything. It's great." Downey then asked Susan to stand up and be acknowledged, asking the crowd lovingly: "How is she still so darn pretty and functional and mood-stable?" Joining Downey in celebrity parenthood, Kelly Rowland gave birth to a boy this week. Congrats across the board! Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher just became parents for the first time! But another new couple in Hollywood may already be pushing you out of the spotlight. According to E! News sources, Miley Cyrus is dating Patrick Schwarzenegger. Kind of. Sort of. A little bit, at least. Numerous insiders say the singer and the son of a certain famous actor "are not officially together," but Miley and Patrick have been spending a lot of time together of late. But is it a lot of naked time? That's the key question. Another insider claims the stars are simply "good friends." Cyrus was spotted with Patrick as the pair went to Schwarzenegger's Los Angeles apartment to prepare for Halloween festivities on Friday morning. They also went on the Universal Haunted Hayride together the day before, with a witness telling E! that Cyrus and Schwarzenegger were among six people in a group that also checked out the corn maze there. Way back in 2011, Schwarznegger did express romantic interest in the musical superstar, telling Details Magazine: "My eye… is set on Miley." Nothing came of it at the time, however, because Miley has recently gotten back together with Liam Hemsworth. Patrick Schwarzenegger then went on to date Taylor Swift. | Virgin Galactic Crashes in California Desert, Kills Co-Pilot - The <b>...</b> Posted: 31 Oct 2014 03:00 PM PDT Virgin Galactic, the rocket ship owned by Richard Branson on which many celebrities had planned to blast off into space, crashed this afternoon in California's Mojave Desert. Reports indicate that one co-pilot died in the accident, while others were seriously injured and at least one individual airlifted to a local hospital.
Reads a statement released by Virgin: "Virgin Galactic's partner Scaled Composites conducted a powered test flight of SpaceShipTwo earlier today. During the test, the vehicle suffered a serious anomaly resulting in the loss of the vehicle." The names of those on board at the time of the accident have not been released. Branson confirmed the tragedy on Twitter, writing: "Thoughts with all @virgingalactic & Scaled, thanks for all your messages of support. I'm flying to Mojave immediately to be with the team." Virgin Galactic had planned for years to sell trips in which the vehicle transports passengers approximately 62 miles above Earth, allowing them to experience a few minutes of weightlessness before returning to ground. In June of last year, Justin Bieber said that he and manager Scooter Braun had signed on to take one of the $250,000-a-person commercial suborbital flights, even claiming he would love to film a video in space. Also, Lady Gaga had said she hoped to board a Virgin Galactic flight in 2015 and perform a song as part of the Zero G Colony music festival. Weather does not appear to have been a factor in today's crash, as the rocket had successfully separated from its carrier plane during all of its 34 previous flights. | Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald: MARRIED! - The <b>Hollywood Gossip</b> Posted: 01 Nov 2014 04:24 PM PDT Continuing a banner year for her famous family, 19 Kids and Counting cast member Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald tied the knot Saturday in Arkansas.  The couple, who recited their own wedding vows in front of an estimated 1,000 guests, were saving their very first kiss until after they'd said "I do." Anyone else hoping to witness it was left hanging, however. "They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private," Pastor Mike Schadt, who married the couple, said later. "It was important to the both of them." He spoke to the crowd about the couple's big decision and asked Jessa's parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to show the wedding crowd a kiss. "So, now you've seen a Duggar kiss," Schadt said. After spending some time alone with each other, the new bride and groom posed for pictures and later exchanged several sweet kisses at the reception. The first, however, remains their memory alone. The reception was also missing another traditional feature. The duo chose to have ice cream sundaes instead of cake, of which Jessa isn't a huge fan. Jessa also chose a blush gown, not the usual white, from Tesori Bridal in Fayetteville, Ark., because she just felt it was the perfect choice for her. Finally, the loving newlyweds were cheered on by the massive crowd who blew bubbles in the air as they left their reception in a horse-drawn carriage. Hey, when you're all in for life at ages 21 and 19, respectively, and have been subsisting on side hugs for over a year, you might as well get down to it. Jessa thus becomes the second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to get married in 2014, and the third of their 19 children to tie the knot overall. First born son Josh Duggar is married to Anna Duggar and has three children of his own, while Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard June 21 in Arkansas. Appropriately, Jill and Derick's special wedding episode aired this past Tuesday night on TLC, just in time to pass torch along to her younger sister. If you watch 19 Kids and Counting online, you can bet your bottom dollar that there'll be a Jessa and Ben wedding event before too long. We cannot wait. As for Jana Duggar ... she's always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Don't even get us started on Jana or we'll get fired up and ruin this positive article. #FreeJana! Sorry, had to. The Duggar parents often accompany their children on dates in order to maintain their "accountability" and "keep things from going in the wrong direction," per Jim Bob. The girls are fine with this, as being alone with men puts them in grave "moral danger." When the parents aren't available, their older siblings will often tag along, making every date a group date and a family affair. |
