| Don Pardo Dies; Saturday Night Live Announcer Was 96 - The <b>...</b> Posted: 19 Aug 2014 04:50 AM PDT Don Pardo, the voice behind Saturday Night Live for 38 seasons, passed away on Monday, according to his daughter. He was 96 years old.
Pardo broke into broadcasting at a small radio station in Providence, Rhode Island and moved to New York City in 1944 to begin his six-decade tenure as a staff announcer at NBC. You may not know his face, but you've heard his voice: Transitioning to television, Pardo announced for such shows as Jeopardy!, The Kate Smith Evening Hour, NBC Nightly News, The Price Is Right, Three on a Match and Winning Streak. On November 22, 1963, Pardo delivered the audio news bulletin to NBC viewers that President John F. Kennedy, Jr. had been shot in Dallas. Pardo - a Massachusetts native who grew up in Connecticut - lost his wife, Kay, in 1995. He served as the sole SNL announcer for every season except one (1981-1982) and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 2010. "RIP Don Pardo. A voice that meant so much," Tweeted Seth Meyers upon learning the news, while Bobby Moynihan added: "On Sept 13th 2008 I heard Don Pardo say my name for the first time. I cried until the 16th. Thanks Don. I owe you a coffee."  |

No, this brave soul does it every day. For no other reason than because he so loves the world. God bless you, Dan Bilzerian. Of course, the 24/7 party that is Bilzerian's life sometimes goes awry - like the time he threw a porn star off his roof and ended up getting sued - but it's a small price to pay for moments like the video above, which involves goats, bikinis, a $10,000 donation to ALS, and more bikinis. We're not sure how the goats got involved, but it's good to see Bilzerian has retained his title as the king of hot Instagram girls. And, of course, the 10 G's for a worthy cause is pretty damn cool, too. Mara is a California-based model (of course). She's not related to Chrissy Teigen, so it would be totally kosher for them to make out. |

The poor reality star just can't shake those extra 15-20 pounds of body weight, complaining that her butt and hips are huge and not being helped any when sister Kylie Jenner temps her with carbs. Moreover, Kim has a young child at home and needs her sleep... ... yet someone dares to keep taking photos of her in a bikini, making it impossible to catch any revitalizing ZZZZZZs.  "Let me sleep!!!!" Kim obnoxiously captioned the above Instagram photo this week, implying she somehow was NOT actively posing for it. Despite the obvious tilting of one butt cheek toward the camera. While on vacation last month on Mexico, Kim posted one bikini photo after another, yet she recently claimed to Us Weekly that she scarcely has time to lay out in the real sun. "I don't really have as much time, so I just like to spray myself," Kardashian told the tabloid of her tanning method. "The baby and husband are in bed sleeping, I spray myself and go to bed. No one wants to come in the middle of the night once everyone's down, so it just makes it easy." Poor, poor Kim Kardashian. She really needs to take more time for herself instead of doing... ummm... you know... all the stuff she does in life. Kim Kardashian has her bikini body back! This is such great news, isn't it? |
