| Big Sean to Ariana Grande: I'm More Than Proud of You! - The <b>...</b> Posted: 26 Aug 2014 04:26 AM PDT Now that an eagle-eyed MTV cameraman caught Big Sean and Ariana Grande holding hands and basically confirmed that they're dating, there's no sense hiding it. Case in point: He's giving her a very public shout-out! The rapper took to Instagram to congratulate his girlfriend on the success of her new album My Everything, which hit stores right after the 2014 MTV VMAs. "Ari's #1 in 80 countries! So great when good things happen to good people. I'm more than proud of you…" Sean wrote along with a photo of the album cover. Ariana and Sean have been heating up since breaking up with Jai Brooks and Naya Rivera, respectively, and working together on her song "Best Mistake." He's also the infamous whispering voice on "Problem." "They have been friends since they made the song together," a source said. "They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close." The "Bang Bang" singer and Sean are "doing great." The hot couple seemingly confirmed their romance Sunday during the aforementioned holding of hands, and Sean's Instagram post erases any doubt. Here's hoping it lasts, and she doesn't get engaged to him, only to keep the wedding plans and marry some other guy three months after they break up! Seriously, that happened to Sean when Naya Rivera married Ryan Dorsey instead, using plans she made with Sean. You can't make up that kind of thing. Posted: 25 Aug 2014 12:53 PM PDT Things are quickly getting ugly in the Mariah Carey-Nick Cannon breakup and an unlikely source is now throwing fuel on the fire. Nick and Mariah posing for the paps. The couple is believed to have one of Hollywood's most stable marriages. Nick Cannon's father - a preacher named James Cannon - posted a series of bizarre Facebook messages yesterday that appeared to be thinly-veiled jabs at his soon-to-be-ex-daughter-in-law. Some highlights: "Heres a thing, if a man say no lies and the woman lies all the time, what should that man do?" "Here a thing, if a woman puts on 200 the husband like a nice slim wife, what should that man do?" "Here a thing, if a man wants to have ten children and his wife only wants two children, then what should that man do?" And here's where it really gets scandalous: "If a man tells a wife to have an abortion and she [has] it anyway, what should that man do?" Naturally, the posts gained a lot of attention and James quickly deleted them. He now claims that they were simply excerpts from a book that he's writing. We're gonna go out on a limb and say that that load of barely-sensical gibberish doesn't sound like the work of a man who's writing a book. Sources have said Nick is worried about Carey's mental state, and that he initiated the divorce out of concern for their children. So it makes sense that James would be pissed at Mariah. And it also makes sense that Nick would insist that his dad delete the status updates in order to protect her. Naya Rivera and Big Sean called it quits while rumors that he cheated took the celebrity gossip blogosphere by storm. |
