The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Recap: Aviva ...

Posted: 13 Aug 2014 02:54 AM PDT

On part three of three of 2014's The Real Housewives of New York City reunion, Aviva Drescher found herself under fire for ... well, pretty much everything.

So many things that this special hardly revolved around Ramona Singer!

From BookGate to LegGate to George Teichner getting married, it's been all about Aviva these days. Has it been worth it? How do the other ladies feel?

Aviva, who mocked Carole's age at the peak of BookGate, takes issue with Heather's "ghetto" language, saying that this is The Hamptons, not The Hood.

Heather says Aviva is ignorant, rude and perpetuating stereotypes. Oof.

At least Sonja Morgan can forgive Aviva for being so mean to her last season because she's a "Christian woman." That is just hilarious for so many reasons.

Ramona then wonders what makes Aviva turn on people. When Ramona is wondering that about someone else, you know you have some issues.

Aviva doesn't like being called "vile" by Ramona, even if they're friends. Kristen then comes at Ramona for being mean to her just because she's the new girl.

It's like middle school all over again on Bravo, ladies and gentlemen.

This one is alive and well. Aviva Drescher and Carole Radziwill have more bad blood over their dueling book deals than most people have had in their whole lives about everything and everyone combined.

Fortunately for the embattled cast member, when the video of Aviva Drescher throwing her leg is introduced, she looks so pleased with herself.

She also admonishes Kristen for looking so horrified. It's a prosthetic!

Haven't you ever seen one before, people?! Can't you accept that people have disabilities?! She really has a way of turning this whole issue around, no?

Kristen says she was just shocked because she had forgotten that Aviva had one ... and because, you know, she tossed it like that in a restaurant.

Aviva insists she did not go to the party with the goal of throwing her leg, and that it takes only a few seconds for her to take it off and wing that thing.

Whether that's true or not, that was one crazy moment.

What better way to end our reunion recap than one last look at the legendary - nay, iconic - conclusions to a cat fight in Real Housewives history:

Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss: Moving in Together! - The Hollywood ...

Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss have been BBFs for awhile, but they're reportedly taking their relationship to the next level. It's getting serious, people.

The 24-year-old singer apparently has found her soulmate - at least as female friends and roommates go - as the model recently moved in with her!

Kloss is now a resident of Taylor's Beverly Hills, Calif., home, according to reports, after crashing with Swift in her NYC pad on frequent occasions as well.

Victoria's Secret model Karlie, 22, moved in a few weeks ago, and the inseparable duo have since become ... well, they're even more inseparable!

"Taylor and Karlie have grown very close," a source said. "Taylor wanted someone to live with her, to have some company, and Karlie jumped at the chance."

"They spent a lot of time together before Karlie moved in but now they are rarely apart. They do everything together, from visits to the gym to road trips."

Swift apparently has no time for guys these days, but plenty for K-squared.

Taylor certainly wasted no time in sharing her fondness for her new roomie with fans, posting a sentimental birthday message for the model on Instagram:

"Happy 22nd birthday to @karliekloss, who is made out of 100% sunshine!"

Aww. This whole thing is too cute, but begs a couple of obvious questions:

Breastmilk Trailer: Ricki Lake Movie Aims to Educate, Inspire - The ...

Posted: 12 Aug 2014 01:29 PM PDT

Ricki Lake, with her new documentary Breastmilk, seeks to flip the script on female anatomy with a different kind of examination of the exposed breast.

Lake, who also co-produced 2008's The Business of Being Born, didn't time the release of Breastmilk around World Breastfeeding Week by accident, saying:

"There are so many forces in our culture that make breastfeeding a huge challenge, not the least of which is a bizarre public anxiety around exposed breasts!"

Breasts on display in pop culture, she notes, are socially acceptable. See Kendall Jenner topless Instagram pics or countless other daily examples.

Breasts used to nurse babies in public are seen as controversial, though. Even when it's Olivia Wilde breastfeeding and looking absolutely stunning.

Imagine the struggles regular women must endure. This inspired Lake, who realizes that "breastfeeding has become such a lightning rod topic."

Her documentary, she concedes, will "definitely make waves with the general public," but the former talk show host insists it goes beyond shock value.

It's also not "a pro-breastfeeding manifesto, but more of a keenly-observed examination of the obstacles so many mothers face when attempting to nurse," she says.

"People want a clear message that is easily digested and the beauty of this film is that it shows the messy reality of the situation without pushing an agenda."

Gisele Bundchen breastfeeding and getting all made up for a modeling shoot. That is some impressive multitasking right there.

"After our theatrical screenings there were heated conversations among the audience about what the film was or wasn't saying," Lake says, encouragingly.

The movie posters and film itself may shock some people, with close-up shots of breasts dripping and spraying milk. But Lake insists it's all educational.

"To me, those shots feel humorous and celebratory from a feminist perspective," she says. "We hope it brings positive attention to the film and incites awe and wonder."

The mere fact that #normalizebreastfeeding is a trending topic on social media, to the filmmaker, is evidence that a movie like this needed to be made.

"My hope is that the film gives the world a deeper appreciation and compassionate insight into the challenges and joys of breastfeeding," adds Lake.

Will it? You tell us. Check out the trailer above for a two-minute tease of her attempts to do that and tell us whether you think she's on the right track.
