Emily Blunt's recent negative comments about her American citizenship resulted in "Fox & Friends" fill-in anchor Anna Kooiman suggesting the actress "leave Hollywood." Watch the video below!

While the British-born Blunt was at the Toronto International Film Festival last weekend, she told The Hollywood Reporter, "I became an American citizen recently and that night we decided to watch the Republican debate, and I thought this was a terrible mistake. What have I done?"

Blunt went on to express how's she "not entirely thrilled" about having become American, adding, "It was sad. I like being British." The actress also said that she was forced to "renounce the Queen," a demand she described as "typically American."

After recapping Blunt's controversial remarks, Kooiman made the point that Blunt has enjoyed a very successful career in Hollywood as a result of many Americans flocking to her films. "Why don't you leave Hollywood, California, and let some American women take on the roles that you're getting," the news host said, adding, "because Americans are watching your movies and lining your pockets."

Co-host Steve Doocy added that Blunt's comments have most likely "alienated half the country that now will think twice about going to one of her movies." Watch the "Fox & Friends" clip below, and tell Gossip Cop what you think about the controversy surrounding Emily Blunt's anti-American citizenship remarks.

Ben Affleck Apologizes to Jennifer Garner For ... - Celebrity Gossip

Posted: 11 Sep 2015 07:02 AM PDT

For several weeks, the nature of the relationship between Ben Affleck and Christine Ouzounian has been a subject of rampant rumors and widespread speculation.

It was initially reported that Affleck was caught cheating with Ouzounian while he was still married to Garner.

Sources later claimed that though Affleck and Ouzounian were dating, their relationship didn't begin until after the actor's marriage had ended.

Whatever the case, insiders say Affleck is so eager to avoid Ouzounian these days that he changed a cell phone number he'd previously had for several years.

Now, a new report from Radar Online is claiming that the friction between Garner and Ouzounian goes back to the time when she was nothing more than the couple's nanny, and Ben has expressed his regret at allowing the 28-year-old opportunist to play a larger role in their lives.

Recently, Ben and Jen attended a marriage counseling session together, and Ben reportedly apologized for his inappropriate relationship with Ouzounian.

"Ben took responsibility for his relationship with their former nanny," says one insider. "The relationship had started after the couple had already split up, but Jen was humiliated when the relationship went public."

The source adds that Jen often felt that Ben and Christine would team up on her in discussions about the best way to raise the kids, and she now "understands what was really going on."

"Ben was truly sorry when he apologized to Jen, and she thought it was a very good step moving forward," says the insider.

Sounds like Ben and Jen are both ready to move on. Unfortunately, we probably haven't seen the last of Christine.

Beyonce Divorce Rumors Heat Up (Again ... - Celebrity Gossip

Posted: 10 Sep 2015 03:39 AM PDT

Beyonce is officially planning her divorce announcement from Jay Z after seven years of marriage, according to a bombshell new tabloid expose.

The cause of the billion-dollar breakup, according to this report?

Years of suspected infidelity on his part have allegedly pushed Beyonce to her breaking point, and she's reportedly had it with the whole charade.

"It's dead," an insider told In Touch, the beacon of celeb journalism.

"Bey is sick of keeping up the ruse of happiness, and she's done."

Of course, we've heard all of this before, and not even that long ago following Solange's elevator fight with Jay Z as Beyonce looked on stoically.

They weathered that, but sources say the "marriage is over" now:

"It's like she's on lockdown and doesn't want to be asked about her marriage or why she and Jay haven't had another child after Blue Ivy."

"But in private, she's already told friends and family that she's moving forward with her life. She'll soon make a public announcement."

Rumors have swirled for years that Jay Z has been cheating on Queen Bey with celebrities such as Rihanna, Rachel Roy and Rita Ora.

None of those reports have been confirmed, for what it's worth.

Still, the couple's supposed decision to divorce comes weeks after they had a huge blowup leading up to the MTV VMAs. Why, you ask?

"Earlier this summer, Bey found some suspicious texts on Jay's phone that led her to believe he was having a secret communication."

A "flirtatious" one, no less, "with one of his [female] proteges ... to Bey, that was a confirmation of her worst suspicions and fears."

"[She] demanded to see his phone, but he wouldn't let her. He started screaming back at her, and this went on for 20 minutes."

"Finally, Beyonce pulled it together and warned Jay he was messing with the wrong woman. Then she [packed a bag] and walked out."

That was enough to ignite the obligatory Beyonce-Jay Z divorce flames, which have been on the verge of flaring up for some time.

Now, the source says, it all comes down to Bey's next move:

"She is fully in charge of how the divorce announcement is going to be made… She is going to play the victim card to the hilt."

As for their daughter, "Blue Ivy is both a reason to stay married and a reason to divorce, an insider close to the couple said.

"While Blue needs a father figure, [Bey] doesn't want her to grow up like she did," referring to her parents' troubled marriage.

"She absolutely wants full custody," the insider goes on to tell In Touch, although she is fully prepared to offer Jay visitation."

Well, that's nice at least.

Maddie Rose Brown: Sister Wives Star Engaged ... - Celebrity Gossip

Posted: 14 Sep 2015 05:30 AM PDT

Sister Wives cast member Maddie Rose Brown may have grown up around plural marriage, but her engagement to Caleb Brush will be her last.

That's right, she will not be following mother Janelle's path in life!

"We are making plans for a wonderful outdoor wedding, hopefully in the country," Maddie, the daughter of Sister Wives' Kody Brown, said.

Caleb asked Kody for permission to ask Maddie, 18, to marry him.

After an ATV ride out to a scenic location, Brush popped the question, presenting her with a delicate ring adorned with a beautiful blue diamond.

"It was cold and we were huddled in jackets and I thought he was crazy to stop," Maddie explained. "He said to come look over here."

"So I walked with him to the edge. He told me he could never express how much he loved me, but he wanted to spend his life trying."

"He went down in one knee and pulled out a box," she said.

"I started kissing him and saying, 'Yes, yes!'"

Maddie has already started planning their wedding, but one thing she's not planning for is another wife joining the mix anytime soon.

Or ever. The soon-to-be-newlyweds said:

"We support Maddie's family with their choice of living plural marriage and they support us with our choice in just marrying each other."

How cordial, understanding and inclusive.

Speaking of which, the Browns are citing the gay marriage ruling by the SCOTUS in seeking similar legal protection for polygamy.

Will they succeed? Who knows. But you can watch Sister Wives online to see Maddie, Kody, Janelle and company in action on TLC.

Josh Duggar: No-Show at Rehab Meetings ... - Celebrity Gossip

Posted: 01 Sep 2015 05:38 AM PDT

Reports from the Illinois rehab facility believed to be housing the disgraced Josh Duggar indicate that the reality star is missing in action.

Did he even fly to Reformers Unanimous in the first place? And if not, where is the troubled father of four since he went into seclusion?

Last week, Josh Duggar checked into rehab (or so we were told by a terse Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar) at an undisclosed location.

The Duggars' private plane, piloted by John David Duggar, pulled into Rockford, Ill., one night, only to turn around 10 minutes later.

it was believed that this was a clandestine perv dropoff and that Josh entered Reformers Unanimous, a Christian treatment facility.

His parents have publicly supported the facility in the past, so the theory made sense ... except he reportedly hasn't been seen there.

Radar insiders claim Josh Duggar hasn't shown up to the rehab center's mandatory meetings and church services in the last week.

On Friday, a group of RU "students" pulled up to the facility's affiliate, North Love Baptist Church, in a van for a local chapter meeting.

The program promotes recovery from addiction through Bible studies, and all are expected to attend; Josh was AWOL, however.

Similarly, he was absent on Sunday, when RU residents are required to attend church services at North Love twice in one day.

"Josh definitely wasn't there," a witness says.

To put it mildly, "It was very strange."

"All students attend all services," the RU website states, as "continued church attendance is a key catalyst to continuing victory."

In another surprising twist, the family's plane took another mystery trip August 27 across the Duggars' home state of Arkansas.

The plane arrived in Paragould, a quiet, eastern town, around 9 a.m., and took off for home in Springdale, Ark., around 6 p.m.

The Christian family does not have property in the area, and no known friends or extended family members are from the town.

Nor are there are any known rehab centers in the vicinity.

It's unclear if this is related to rumors that Josh was sent away to six months in a Christian labor camp ... but we wouldn't doubt it.

So where is Josh, and when will we see him again?

Obviously, we can't answer that, but we wouldn't bank on the family coming forward with daily updates or blog posts, that's for sure.

Josh had been keeping a very low-profile since May, when uncovered police reports outed him as a molester of his own minor sisters.

He confessed to deviant behavior, resigned as executive director at the Family Research Council, and left Washington, D.C. in shame.

Then TLC nixed 19 Kids & Counting ... and then it actually got worse for the Duggars after cheating website Ashley Madison was hacked.

Yes. While espousing "family values" and lobbying against gay rights, Josh was cheating on wife Anna Duggar and addicted to online porn.

It's unclear how "successful" he was on Ashley Madison, but he reportedly trolled other dating sties and strip clubs for mistresses as well.

Only one, Danica Dillon, has come forward so far ... though her tales of being paid, manhandled and berated by Josh are something else.
