| Chris Colfer: Twitter Account Hacked, False Glee Departure <b>...</b> Posted: 03 Jul 2014 10:33 AM PDT Chris Colfer stunned the television world today via an announcement on Twitter: He will NOT be returning to Glee for the Fox show's sixth and final season. The actor - who originated the role of gay high school student Kurt Hummel - sent the Twitterverse into chaos just a few minutes ago by writing the following: "Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly..."  Colfer has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and earned a Golden Globe win for his portrayal of this New Directions member. Glee Season 6, meanwhile, will mark the final run of episodes for this musical comedy. It is expected to debut in early 2015. UPDATE: "We've been alerted that Chris Colfer's Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth," reads a statement from 20th Century Fox TV. "We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season."  |

| Henry Cavill in Man of Steel Sequel: First Look! - The <b>Hollywood</b> <b>...</b> Posted: 03 Jul 2014 06:56 AM PDT It's a bird... it's a plane... it's our first look at Henry Cavill in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice! About eight weeks after revealing the initial shot of Ben Affleck as Batman, Director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. have unveiled a photo of this British star reprising his role as the Man of Steel.  "We've both created this guy and we can push him around a little bit," Snyder tells USA Today. "The more time I spend with Henry, the more he's Superman to me." Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theaters on May 6, 2016. Aside from the iconic title characters, the blockbuster will also feature Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), with Snyder saying his sequel will be a lot denser and darker than the original. The film is shooting in Detroit and it will take Superman to Gotham City, while also introducing Jesse Eisenberg in the villainous role of Lex Luthor. Consider us very intrigued. Martin Scorcese's The Departed featured an all-star ensemble cast, but it felt a little too much like a clunky wannabe of Japanese film Infernal Affairs. |
