Bruno Mars Brings His 'Moonshine Jungle' Tour To The Hollywood ...

Bruno Mars brought his blockbuster Moonshine Jungle tour to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles last night (May 31) and wowed the star-studded crowd with an electric, hit-filled set. The 28-year-shared the bill with Pharrell, who raised the bar for opening acts by turning the famous venue into an outdoor disco with "Blurred Lines", "Get Lucky" and "Happy". He even brought out a typically flawless-looking Gwen Stefani to sing "Hollaback Girl".

Skateboard P raised the stakes but, from the first verse of "Moonshine", it was clear that Bruno was up to the challenge. After setting the retro-soul tone with "Treasure", the beaming Grammy winner admitted that this was his first visit to the Hollywood Bowl (in any capacity) since arriving in LA 10 years ago.

He certainly made up for lost time by taking his fans and celeb friends — Zac Efron, Lea Michele, Paula Abdul and Quentin Tarantino were just a few of the famous faces in attendance — on a thrill-ride dotted with old tunes ("Billionaire", "Our First Time" and "Marry You"), unexpected covers ("Pony", "Every Little Step" and "Ignition") and cuts from 2012 LP Unorthodox Jukebox ("If I Knew" and "Young Girls").

It was a near-perfect mix that showcased Bruno's powerful pipes and his band's incredibly musicianship. (Rhythm sections don't get much tighter than this). The pop star proved to be a natural entertainer, dancing through the up-tempo numbers while dropping endearing anecdotes between slower songs. Prince and Michael Jackson are the "Nothin' On You" singer's obvious inspirations but he has carved out his own niche.

Highlights included Bruno's swoonworthy rendition of "When I Was Your Man", his beefed up rock interpretation of "Grenade" and the off-the-cuff collaboration with Pharrell. The hitmakers teamed up for an initially shaky but ultimately must-hear/see cover of N.E.R.D.'s "Rock Star".

Eric Shinseki, Jay Carney Resign Amidst Veterans Affairs Scandal ...

Posted: 30 May 2014 11:37 AM PDT

The ongoing Veterans Health Administration scandal currently plaguing the Obama administration claimed two major career casualties today.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney both announced their resignations this afternoon amidst growing public outrage over alleged incompetency and falsified records within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

 • Eric Shineski

 • Jay Carney

It is not known if Carney's resignation is a direct result of the scandal, and the former journalist who has been with the Obama administration since 2008 will not officially step down until mid-June.

Shinseki's resignation, however, definitely stems from growing frustration over deception and the perceived mishandling of healthcare cases by the VA.

A Vietnam veteran and former Army chief of staff, Shinseki offered a public apology to veterans and their families today before tendering his resignation privately at the White House.

He will be replaced by the agency's number 2 official, Sloan Gibson.

Following his meeting with Shineski, President Obama remarked, "I regret that he has to resign under these circumstances." He then heaped praise upon Shineski for his lifetime of service and his five years as head of the Veterans Affairs department.

Obama also expressed his regrets over the Carney resignation and stated during a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room today that Carney will be replaced by deputy press secretary Josh Earnest.

Daniela Rajic Sues Paul George For Paternity of Daughter - The ...

Posted: 29 May 2014 10:40 AM PDT

Paul George scored 37 points last night, leading the Indiana Pacers to a Game 5 win over the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

But the 24-year-old NBA All-Star didn't have much time to savor this victory, as he woke up this morning to a lawsuit.

The New York Post confirms that Daniela Rajic, a 24-year old stripper who slept with George a little over nine months ago, filed a paternity suit against the baller in Manhattan Family Court this week.

Rajic worked at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami when she met George, with insiders saying the two did date for a few months.

But the relationship ended… Rajic revealed she was pregnant… and a paternity test confirmed that the daughter born on May 1 does, indeed, belong to George.

"As Paul has said all along, if and when the legal process confirms that the baby is his, he will fully embrace his responsibilities as a father," his rep said.

"He will provide emotional and financial support to the child. ‎The process has been amicable and we hope it will continue to be until this issue is clarified."

Earlier this year, George denied a claim that he offered Rajic $1 million to abort the baby. Details of the lawsuit (i.e. the amount Rajic is demanding in child support) are unclear.

George was also in the news for ... other reasons this year:

The Pacers season is on the line Friday in Miami, meanwhile.

Down 3-2 in the best-of-seven series, Indiana needs a win over LeBron James' two-time defending champion Heat to extend the rivalry to a seventh game.

Good luck with that, you guys in blue and gold.

Between George's sexual dalliances, Roy Hibbert's fragile psyche and Lance Stephenson ... existing, the distractions are really starting to pile up.

Although they sure can be funny.

Lebron isn't King of the World, Lance is. Well, at least he's the king of blowing on things.

Marilyn Manson Cast on Sons of Anarchy Season 7 - The Hollywood ...

Marilyn Manson on Sons of Anarchy? Seems like a perfect match, doesn't it?

FX confirmed today that the scary rocker will recur on the final season of that cable smash as a white supremacist in prison.

Look for him to get close to Charlie Hunnam's Jax Teller in order to expand his power behind bars.

Manson is set to release a new album and kick off a new tour and he apparently lobbied SOA creator Kurt Sutter for the role.

"Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's," said Manson in a statement. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

You can watch Sons of Anarchy online via TV Fanatic prior to the final season revving up this fall.
