After staying out of the limelight for a bit, Leighton Meester is ready to emerge from the shadows and take over the world.

The gorgeous actress/singer works her magic on the cover of Nylon magazine for November 2014, chatting about how she developed while working on "Gossip Girl."

"I started the show when I was so young, and once it was over, I wanted to do things that were more exciting and challenging and more me—more my adult taste. Of course, that's said with nothing but gratitude and love for that experience in that time of my life."

However, Leighton doesn't see a ton of equality between men and women in Hollywood. "As far as scripts go, the roles of women standing alone on their own as whole, real, full people are few and far between. So with both of those roles [Life Partners and Like Sunday, Like Rain], what I loved is that neither of them are centered around romantic relationships. They're flawed, real human beings that I could bread down and really enjoy playing. They're like me, in a way."

And as she approaches 30, Miss Meester notices things changing around her. "Most people I know are starting to get married. It'll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I've got dogs."

While Jessa and Jill Duggar become celebrity news staples, the oldest daughter from TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, Jana Duggar, remains an enigma of sorts.

So much so, you might not know the 24-year-old even exists if you watch 19 Kids and Counting online this season but aren't a longtime Duggar devotee.

If you missed it, Jill Duggar, 23, married Derrick Dillard in June and is carrying his child, while Jessa Duggar, 21, set to marry Ben Seewald November 1.

Jana Duggar? Mysteriously single and increasingly out of the reality TV limelight.

With patriarch Jim Bob's help, Jana's younger sisters and her older brother Josh Duggar have managed to court, settle down and make babies in short order.

Is there something about Jana that makes her different than her sisters, and anything less than prime courting material? Not as far as we can tell.

She's a nice-looking girl any number of young Arkansas males would seemingly bend over backwards to side-hug the ish out of any day of the week.

Not only that, she's quasi-famous yet very down-to-earth, sweet and smart, the whole package that many guys would kill for a chaperoned date with.

So what's her deal? Is she not allowed to get married by Jim Bob and forced to take care of her younger siblings, as has been rumored in the past?

Or, is she at odds with, and planning on making a break from, the family?

1. Dates Without Chaperones

The Duggar parents often accompany their children on dates in order to maintain their "accountability" and "keep things from going in the wrong direction," per Jim Bob. The girls are fine with this, as being alone with men puts them in grave "moral danger." When the parents aren't available, their older siblings will often tag along, making every date a group date and a family affair.

The most likely explanation of Jana's single status is that she and Jim Bob just haven't found The One yet. Admittedly, not everyone will fit the bill.

Given the things the Duggars do not allow and their rules for dating, that has to narrow the field a bit. But it didn't stop Josh, Jill or Jessa, now did it?

According to FreeJinger (dot) org, it might not be an accident that she's distancing herself from the family on 19 Kids and Counting and in private.

Very little is known for sure, but Jana is reportedly enrolled College Plus, where students can take classes that later transfer to physical colleges.

She is said to be considering a nursing degree, and she's trained as both a first responder and a midwife. She also does extensive missionary work.

As such, there's a lot of talk about her spreading her wings and flying solo, leaving her parents and the 18 kids behind. But it's unclear if she will do so.

It's equally unclear what that even entails as far as the conflict (or lack thereof) between herself and Jim Bob. As of right now, she's still a mystery.

Maybe FreeJinger should rename itself FreeJana. Just an idea.

Blake Lively is pregnant with her first child, according to the actress herself, who broke the news somewhat cryptically on her new lifestyle site Preserve!

Lively, who is married to Ryan Reynolds, just launched a Preserve Celebration of Family on her site, in honor of "that special moment at the creation of family."

Publishing a host of pictures of happily pregnant women, Blake congratulated "all the expecting mothers out there," then shared one more special photo:

The photo of the Gossip Girl beauty and her baby bump was taken by her brother Eric Lively. Posing in the twilight, she cradles her future offspring proudly.

Lively has been quite vocal about wanting to start a family since marrying Ryan Reynolds in 2012, and as one of five kids, she says she wants a big one, too.

Still, no one saw this pregnancy coming.

The couple, who met while filming their 2011 movie, The Green Lantern, secretly wed in an intimate South Carolina ceremony and keep a low profile.

Since tying the knot, the two have been working on movies (or lifestyle websites) and have maintained minimal public presence, living quietly in Bedford, N.Y.

It won't be as quiet in a few months!

"We'd love to have a big family," Reynolds told Details in 2013 issue. "We both come from big families ... my parents did four, Blake's did five."

"A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think," the actor added.

Blake gushed to Vogue in August that Reynolds "is going to be a great father and leader and patriarch ... he's so meant to be all of those things."

"The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he's the exact realized person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he's become."

"Now, we both get to grow from there."

Reynolds was previously married to Scarlett Johansson from 2008-10. Johansson gave birth to her first child, daughter Rose, with Romain Dauriac this fall.

Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 4 and Episode 5, airing in tandem last night on We TV, showed us more of the aftermath unfolding after the cheating scandal.

With Hank Baskett having done the unthinkable, the hour showed Kendra Wilkinson seek out guidance and companionship from sources expected and unexpected.

On Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 4, she must have been really desperate for a storyline and/or shoulder to cry upon, because our girl reached out to her mom.

Kendra Wilkinson and Patti Wilkinson? Not exactly peas in a pod.

The night kicks off with Kendra grilling Hank about the tabloid rumors about his fling with Ava London, a transsexual model. He denies the affair took place!

Not just dodging the issue, either. We're talking about full-throated denials and begging his scorned wife to "please believe me. I'm at your mercy."

Kendra must sort of believe the rumors, though, because she kicks him out of their bedroom, if not their house, and says he's no longer a husband to her.

Luckily, he leaves town (for work) at which point Kendra invites her mom over to patch things up and bond, albeit sort of sadly, over Hank's alleged affair.

Patti, never a Hank fan, advises her little girl to boot him out.

After the events of Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 5, she was likely tempted. Hank, back from his trip, was crying on the bathroom floor - but still denying it.

Following that, she did some digging of her own, then pursued the tried-and-true girls night out strategy, hoping for some laughs and a bit of distraction.

That didn't turn out quite as she planned, however.

Jessica Hall has long been Kendra's best friend.

Unfortunately, in this case the best friend failed at giving her what she needed, which was a respite from the turmoil and not a full-fledged interrogation.

The elephant in the room - those tabloid rumors surrounding Hank and Ava London - quickly became the topic of discussion and the mood turned sour.

Kendra's girlfriends seemed to agree that Hank needed to man up or get the f--k out, but it looked as though Jessica Hall was holding something back.

She was.

"Hank basically told Kyle what happened," Jessica said, likely referring to a boyfriend, and since Hank has Jessica's number, he and Kyle might be tight.

Having dropped that BOMB on Kendra, she adds that "there's two sides to every story" and she doesn't think people should be so hard on Hank now.

WTH!?!

Kendra presses her for info on what Hank said, but Jessica apologizes, says she doesn't know anything, and says Kyle promised to take it to his grave.

The pregnant Kourtney Kardashian's third child will be a girl, according to new reports. The little one will be born into her beautiful growing brood in a few months.

Her children Mason, 4, and Penelope, 2, will soon have a baby sister to look after. Along with longtime love Scott Disick, Kourt will basically have four kids.

Kourtney Kardashian's third pregnancy was first reported in June. It's unclear when her due date is, but the baby girl will arrive late this year or early next.

If you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians online, you remember the awkward moment when she told Scott Disick he was going to be a dad again.

While Scott and Kourtney have been through a lot and always seem to come out on the other side of their problems, he did not seem to take this well.

Kourtney's sisters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian are pretty thrilled, no doubt, as the trio already has a designer line of kids' clothing for girls.

The stylish star said over the summer that she had become "obsessed" with the "mommy-daughter bikinis" at her Dash pop-up shop in the Hamptons.

She shared a photo of the two-pieces - a floral bandeau top and matching bottoms for mom, and a coordinating bikini with crocheted details for Penelope.

Having grown as up the oldest of five girls, if you include half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and just one brother (poor Rob), the sisterly bond is strong.

Jon Gosselin: Broke! Evicted From Home! - The Hollywood Gossip

Jon Gosselin is broke and was recently evicted from his home in rural Pennsylvania after failing to pay his rent on time, according to a new report.

"It's true," an insider says of recent talk that Jon's landlord booted him.

"He was evicted last week and [he's] in the process of moving out."

Jon Gosselin, who'd been waiting tables to pay bills, was most recently working for a credit card company, but that job didn't work out as planned.

"It lasted a few months," the source says. "Now, he's broke again."

The insider claimed that much of Gosselin's financial woes come from making poor decisions, but wouldn't elaborate on the specifics of what those were.

Not that it's hard to think up a bunch off the top of your head.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, he said it was "next to nearly impossible to find work" since his TLC reality show came to an end in 2011.

TLC is bringing back Kate Plus 8, sans Jon, this winter.

You might not think Gosselin's eviction snag affects his eight kids, since Kate Gosselin is the one who supports them anyway, but where will they stay?

The pregnant Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard have confirmed, via 19 Kids and Counting network TLC, that they are expecting a baby boy together.

Yes, #BabyDilly is officially gonna be a #BabyDude!

The pregnant Jill Duggar, 23, announced this past August that she is expecting the duo's first child. Jill married Derick Dillard, 25, in Arkansas on June 21, 2014.

How do they feel about their future baby's gender?

"I was really excited," says Derick Dillard. "As a new dad, to have a firstborn son to be our first child and be the leader of his siblings, it is very special."

"I was praying for a big, healthy baby," adds Derick about the night before the appointment where they found out. "And Jill added, 'Just healthy, healthy.'"

The couple told their families the news Saturday.

"Oh yes, there was some screaming in the room," says, Jill, who is 18 weeks along. "I thought all along we were having a girl. Everyone made their guesses."

"They were just elated," adds Jill. "My mom and dad both thought it was going to be a boy and my grandma did, too. They are all really excited."

The Dillards prepared for the big ultrasound reveal with a big breakfast of waffles with syrup and whipped cream, fruit, chocolate milk and lemonade for Jill.

This fall's season of the family reality show has focused heavily on their love story. Tonight's 19 Kids & Counting Season 14 Episode 13 is even called "All About Jill."

On the show, they haven't even gotten hitched yet. In real life, just five months later, they're shopping for items like overalls, plaid shirts and pants for #BabyDilly.

"We are not going to do a letter theme," says Jill of what they plan to name the little boy. "But we may do some kind of theme, like family names."

The fourth-eldest child in the expansive family, Duggar took three tests to determine if she was pregnant after she suspected that she may be expecting.

Following brother Josh Duggar, 26, Jill is the second Duggar to start her own family. Her little sister Jessa Duggar, 21, will wed Ben Seewald November 1.

Jana Duggar is still single. :(
