| Amanda Bynes May Face One YEAR of Involuntary Confinement <b>...</b> Posted: 15 Oct 2014 04:06 AM PDT Amanda Bynes is likely headed for another conservatorship, but her parents won't be at the helm. Her doctors want her confined and medicated for up to a YEAR. Amanda Bynes was a delightful child star with a bright career whose hard-partying ways and obvious mental issues have made for many sad headlines in recent years. After her July 2013 hospitalization, her parents Lynn and Rick were given a conservatorship, granting them control over her legal, medical and fiscal decisions. She was ultimately released, only to go off the rails once more when the conservatorship lapsed last month. Now here she is, under a 5150 psych hold again. Given how pissed Bynes is at her parents, and how severe her mental illness appears to be, another conservatorship managed by doctors looks imminent. One that can keep her confined and medicated for up to a year against her will. The plan, according to TMZ sources, is to place her under an LPS Hold. At the behest of doctors, a judge can sign off on this if a patient is "gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder or impairment by chronic alcoholism." Sadly, this is likely true of Amanda, and if she's being cared for in the hospital or another secure facility for a long period of time, that may be best for her. The LPS Hold is far more stringent than what her parents - who can't legally force medication on Amanda or physically restrain her - could get in court. Since her parents conned her into the hospital with the help of Sam Lutfi, and their relationship with her was strained anyway, they have little sway with her. Doctors successfully sought an LPS Hold on Amanda after she lit driveway on fire and doused her dog with gasoline last year, but that has since expired. Once she is fully diagnosed near the end of the 14-day temporary hold she's currently under, medical professionals will likely go the LPS route again. We wish her the very best and hope that this tragic and difficult situation can be remedied, even if it takes a lot of effort and time and people to make it so. Amanda Bynes thinks she is dope. One of the most unexpected rap beefs in the history of hip hop has come to an equally surprising conclusion. The Iggy Azalea-Snoop Dogg feud that began when Doggfather posted an insulting Instagram pic directed at Iggy has officially been resloved, with Iggy's mentor T.I. stepping in to play peacemaker.  Snoop Dogg Apologizes to Iggy Azalea Snoop uploaded the above video to Instagram just moments ago, and though he never mentions I-G-G-Y by name, it's pretty clear whom he's apologizing to. "It's officially over," Snoop says to the camera. "No more bad talk. I apologize." Of course, the stoned smirk that spreads across Snoop's face at the end makes us feel like the apology might be less than 100% sincere, but we're sure Iggy will take what she can get. It's hard to remember a celebrity feud that escalated this quickly. In less than a day, things went from playful Instagram chiding to Snoop's crew threatening to sic Nicki Minaj on Iggy. Iggy's boyfriend Nick Young got involved in the beef and before anyone realized what was happening, a full-blown inter-generational hip hop beef was afoot. Anyway, it's all over now, and we're glad to see it peacefully resolved. But we have to say - no one recorded a diss track?! Come on, guys, you're rappers! She took the name "Iggy Azalea" from her childhood dog and the street she grew up on. |

Kylie's got such a firm grasp on how to keep her millions of followers entertained that her selfie skills earned her a spot on Time magazine's list of the most influential teens of 2014. With all the benefits she's reaped thus far, it's unlikely that Kylie will cool it with the selfies any time soon, and we can't blame her. Even so, pics like the one below definitely make us wonder where this girl's parents are:  That's Kylie and her lip injections rocking a typically age inappropriate outfit, and this shot gives us the feeling that even Kylie realizes she's growing up too fast. Something about that look on her face says, "Wow, I'm 17 and this is gonna be on the Internet forever." Of course, KJ is running with a much older crowd these days, so maybe she doesn't realize what a bad idea it is for her to rush right into adulthood like this. Kylie is dating Tyga, a 24-year-old rapper with a child of his own who was - until recently - engaged to one of Kim Kardashian's best friends. Hopefully Kylie will pull a Kim (ditch the douche and not settle down until her 30s) and not a Kourtney (settle down with the douche and pop out a million kids). The former How I Met Your Mother star - who has previously emceed the Tony Awards and the Emmy Awards, while also having taken home trophies at both those events - has been tapped to host the 2015 Academy Awards. The show will air live on ABC on Sunday, February 22.  "It is truly an honor and a thrill to be asked to host this year's Academy Awards," Harris said via statement. "I grew up watching the Oscars and was always in such awe of some of the greats who hosted the show. "To be asked to follow in the footsteps of Johnny Carson, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres, and everyone else who had the great fortune of hosting is a bucket list dream come true." As multi-talented a performer as exists in Hollywood, Harris portrays the character of Desi in Gone Girl. He did performed in the opening musical number at the 2010 Oscars. As previously reported, Amanda Bynes was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold at a Pasadena mental hospital last week after flying back to Los Angeles from N.Y. Her friend Sam Lutfi, who was once Britney Spears' manager and bizarrely linked to that star at the time of her 5150 hold, was instrumental in getting her there. Not surprisingly, Bynes is far from pleased about all of this. Already deeply distrustful of her family and friends, she's incredibly pissed at her parents and the ruse that landed her in a mental institution against her will. Yet Lutfi, who convinced her she was meeting with an attorney to sue her parents, is reportedly still close to Bynes' parents and is even giving them advice. "Amanda is disgusted with Sam and has been openly telling anyone who will listen that she hates him for inserting himself into her family," a source says. "Even though Amanda is suffering from serious mental health issues, she is lucid enough to know that Sam is someone she wants nothing to do with." "The more troubling development is that Amanda's parents have become enthralled with him. In particular, her dad Rick thinks Sam is a great guy." "Sam is even giving Rick legal advice!
